Enter Engineering Mode
- For Treadmills: Press and hold the Incline Up and Speed Down buttons for 5 to 10 seconds
- For Ascent Trainers / ClimbMills / Cycles / Ellipticals: Press and hold the Resistance Up and Resistance Down buttons for 5-10 seconds.
- Press an up-arrow button (on the console screen or the platform) until "Switch Function" appears.
- Press the check mark button.
- Press the check mark button until the console displays "Energy Saver Off"
- Press an up or down arrow button to show "Energy Saver On"
- Press and hold the Stop button to exit Switch Function mode.
- Press and hold the Stop button to exit engineering mode
How do I look at my past workouts?
- You can see your previous workouts from the ViaFit/ViewFit app. Note: Not all consoles connect to ViaFit/ViewFit

Does the heart rate strap that comes with the product need to be synced to Bluetooth?
- On XR, XER, XIR, T130x, and T130xi consoles, the console will automatically connect to wireless heart rate monitors using the 5kHz protocol when in range.
- On XR-03, XER-02, XIR-02, and XUR consoles, the Bluetooth heart rate monitor must be paired to the console. Please refer to your Owner's Manual for instructions to connect your compatible device.
How can I confirm which console model I have?

You can use the serial number prefix to confirm your console model. The serial number label is located on the back of the console:

- Once a user pressed any button on the console, demo mode will turn off

- Locate the decal at the bottom of the frame. The model number is printed on the top of the decal. The serial number is listed below that.

Troubleshooting
Find solutions to some of the most common issues with your console.
Issue: My Bluetooth-enabled device is not syncing with the console
- Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that your Bluetooth headphones are not synced with any other device.
Issue: Some or all of the keys on the console don't work

Massage the keypads:
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- While standing on both side rails, use your fingers or a soft cloth to firmly massage the keys in a circular motion.
- Plug in the power cord and test the console keys
- CORRECTIVE ACTION: If massaging the keypad doesn't work, check the upper board cable connections as instructed below.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait three minutes, allowing the lower board to discharge built-up energy.
- Remove the screws that hold the console back to the console housing.
- Verify that the cable connections are properly and securely in place
- CORRECTIVE ACTION: Secure the cable connections. If unable to secure connections, contact the retailer where you purchased the machine or customer technical support.

- Touch Heart Rate Monitors. The Bluetooth chest strap device should appear to the right after a few seconds.
- Press the device name to connect. Once paired, a heart icon will appear in the upper right corner of the screen.

Issue: My console is saying that my streaming service isn't compatible with a web browser in the console
- At this time, we can't guarantee our installed Web Browser will support streaming. The best option, if using an XIR-02 or XUR console, would be to use the HDMI input with either a digital media player that supports the streaming app or mirror from a device that supports the streaming app.
Issue: Console buttons aren't aligned with touch
- Access the settings menu by touching the gear icon in the top right corner of the home screen
- Tap "Machine Settings" from the settings menu
- Double tap the bottom left corner of the screen, then double tap the bottom right corner
- In the engineering menu:
- Treadmills: press and hold "Incline Up" and "Speed Down" on the handgrips for 5 seconds
- Bikes/Ellipticals: press and hold "Resistance Up" and "Resistance Down" for 5 seconds
- Follow the screen calibration instructions
Issue: Bluetooth-enabled device is not syncing with console
- Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device

Issue: Passport Player is not syncing with console
- Reset power on the Passport Player and the equipment

- We recommend using a screen cleaner and avoiding products that contain ammonia and alcohol
- Spray a soft, lint-free, dry cloth with the screen cleaner and gently wipe the console
- Do not use abrasive pads or paper towel and do not spray the console directly, as it could leak into the console and cause damage
- Monitor wipes may also be used
How do I turn energy saver mode on or off?

Does the heart rate strap that comes with the product need to be synced to Bluetooth?
- On XR, XER, XIR, T130x, and T130xi consoles, the console will automatically connect to wireless heart rate monitors using the 5kHz protocol when in range.
- On XR-03, XER-02, XIR-02, and XUR consoles, the Bluetooth heart rate monitor must be paired to the console. Please refer to your Owner's Manual for instructions to connect your compatible device.
How do I sync my Bluetooth heart rate strap to my console?

A Bluetooth heart rate monitor must be paired to console prior to use:
- Place the chest strap directly on your skin, just below your sternum. It should be snug enough to stay in place during your activity.
- From the console home screen, touch the gear icon in the upper right corner
- Touch Device Pairing
- Touch Heart Rate Monitors. The Bluetooth chest strap device should appear to the right after a few seconds.
- Press the device name to connect. Once paired, a heart icon will appear in the upper right corner of the screen.

Troubleshooting
Find solutions to some of the most common issues with your console.
Issue: My console is saying that my streaming service isn't compatible with a web browser in the console
- At this time, we can't guarantee our installed Web Browser will support streaming. The best option, if using an XIR-02 or XUR console, would be to use the HDMI input with either a digital media player that supports the streaming app or mirror from a device that supports the streaming app.
Issue: Console buttons aren't aligned with touch
- Access the settings menu by touching the gear icon in the top right corner of the home screen
- Tap "Machine Settings" from the settings menu
- Double tap the bottom left corner of the screen, then double tap the bottom right corner
- In the engineering menu:
- Treadmills: press and hold "Incline Up" and "Speed Down" on the handgrips for 5 seconds
- Bikes/Ellipticals: press and hold "Resistance Up" and "Resistance Down" for 5 seconds
- Follow the screen calibration instructions
Issue: Bluetooth-enabled device is not syncing with console
- Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device
- Verify that your Bluetooth headphones are not synced with any other device
Issue: Passport Player is not syncing with console
- Reset power on the Passport Player and the equipment
- Check for a software update
- Verify that the player is within 25–30 feet of the equipment
- Make sure there is a clear path between the player and the equipment
Issue: No console display

- Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into the wall outlet.
- Verify that the power switch is turned on. If the red light on the switch is on, refer to the console display suggestions below.

- Unplug equipment from wall outlet.
- Wait three minutes, allowing the lower board to discharge built-up energy.

Appropriate Circuit
- Verify that the equipment is on a 20-amp dedicated circuit.
- You can check this by going to the circuit breaker box in your home and turning the breaker with the equipment off, checking to see if any other electronics turn off as well.
- Contact an electrician to verify, if necessary.
- Find the power control box for the outlet and verify that the specified circuit has not been tripped.
- If the circuit breaker is tripped, reset breaker and try the machine again. If the breaker trips again, contact the retailer where you purchased the machine or customer tech support.

- Tap "Machine Settings" from the settings menu
- Tap "Update"
